This volume consists of the papers presented at the seminar organised on November 6 – 7, 2010 on the theme of Economic Problems and the Teachings of the Quran. The papers were presented in Urdu, English and Arabic. The proceedings have been published in two separate volumes containing Urdu and English articles respectively. The only article in Arabic has been put along with Urdu articles. In the backdrop of the global economic crisis, it was only natural to look to the teachings of the Quran for the solution of this very grave threat to the stability and well being of the man. The Noble  Quran gives much importance to economic aspect of human life and provides detailed guidelines and basic principles for the organisation of this very important segment of human activity. The articles included in these collections to study some of the more significant economic problems that humanity faces today and the guidance that Noble Quran provides on the point.
